Who We Are

Slingluff United Insurance has been serving the people of our community for more than 3/4 of a century. The agency was founded in 1928 by Betts Slingluff, who remained active in the business until his death in 1979. Joining the agency in 1963, Morris Slingluff, CPCU would provide stable, effective leadership for the next 42 years. Through his tenure the agency would grow from a modest 4 person office handling less than 300 customers to a  highly automated office and staff of 19 associates serving more than 6,500 individuals, families and businesses in the Dothan area. Stepping into the chairman position in 2005, Mr. Slingluff turned the reigns over to the third generation of leadership, his son Ben Slingluff, who now serves as President of the agency. We strive every day to remember our Corporate Philosophy.....
